Pricing starts at $1,200 and varies by lineage and litter, reflecting the health testing, titling, and multi-year planning behind every litter. Exact pricing for a given litter is shared directly with approved applicants during the inquiry process.

We don't maintain a general waitlist. Every prospective home completes our Prospective Owner Application, and approved applicants are matched to upcoming or available litters as they're ready — rather than served in strict first-come order.

Every sire and dam is OFA-tested for hips, elbows, and cardiac health, and undergoes a full genetic panel screening before being approved for a pairing. Results are documented and available on request.

Every Bastion House puppy is placed with a written 2-year health guarantee covering major genetic conditions. Full terms are provided in your puppy contract.

Yes. Temperament is central to our program — every puppy is evaluated for neurological soundness and stability from an early age. The breed's loyalty and gentleness within the family is something we breed for deliberately, not something we simply hope for.

We ask every applicant to share their experience with large or working breeds, along with their daily routine and living environment — fenced space, activity level, and household composition all factor into a good match. It isn't about disqualifying casual owners; it's about placing the right dog in the right home.

Every placement follows the same four steps: health and genetic screening of the parents, considered matching of litter to applicant, structured early development and socialization, and placement with lifetime support. You can read more on our About page.

A $500 deposit is required to formally reserve a puppy once a match is confirmed, and is applied toward the final price. Refund policy is outlined in your placement agreement.

We offer both in-person pickup and coordinated travel for approved out-of-area families. Specific logistics and any associated costs are discussed once a placement is confirmed.
